Grandma Cindi’s Easter Ham loaf

One of the things our family always looks forward to is Gramma Cindi’s Ham loaf! What is your family’s favorite Easter meal?

I use 8 to 10 lb bonless cure 81 ham or Tenacious cured boneless ham. I grind the ham with my old 1880's grinder and put the ground ham in a very large bowl. I use 1 full sleeve of club crackers and roll them into fine crumbs. I beat 3 eggs and add about 1/2 cup milk. Add 1/2 teaspoon of allspice. Mix altogether in the large bowl. Make 3 or 4 loaves and place into a large cake pan. Bake at 350. While baking, make a glaze of 2 cups brown sugar to which 1 T of regular mustard and 1/2 to 3/4 cup of pineapple or orange juice has been added. Take loaves out of oven about half way through and spread glaze over loaves. Done when the glaze is bubbly. Cool a bit before slicing.
